Kiss me, I'm Irish...and Vegan!
Irish, or Irish just for the day, we invite all Vegans in the CLE to come have some Irish-Vegan fun by marching in Cleveland's St. Patrick's Day parade with us!
Join the Cleveland Vegan Society on Friday, March 17, 2017, for the 175th Cleveland's St. Patrick's Day Parade, as we march as a group, creating awareness of veganism in Cleveland. Join us as we show our city and 500,000 parade-goers that vegans are here and we are many!
Our parade unit will increase the visibility of vegans in CLE, intending to inspire the vegan-curious to seek more information, to motivate local businesses to become vegan-friendly, to increase awareness of Cleveland VegFest, to encourage current vegans to connect with Cleveland Vegan Society, and to reach out to other vegans in the community.
We will hold the Cleveland Vegan Society banner and carry individual signs with positive vegan messages. We are required to be in a group uniform (we will most likely use our VegFest Tees or print CVS tees for this purpose). The tees can be worn on top of lots of warm layers!
The parade steps off at 1:04 PM and lasts approximately 2 hours. We will gather before the parade for check-in, coffee and treats, sign-making, and getting in uniform. We are planning some Irish-Vegan shenanigans for after the parade!
The 2016 Winter WineFest — a fundraiser for the 2017 Cleveland VegFest — will feature a Cruelty-Free Silent Auction and Soulful Country/Americana music by talented artist Jason Meyers.

For every bottle of wine purchased, $5 will be donated to the Cleveland Vegan Society!

The Cleveland Premiere of "Food Choices" presented by The Cleveland Vegan Society. All proceeds will go towards funding the 2017 Cleveland VegFest.
Join award-winning filmmaker Michal Siewierski on his three-year journey to expose the truth about our food choices. This ground-breaking documentary explores the impact that food choices have on people’s health, the health of our planet and on the lives of other living species. And also discusses several misconceptions about food and diet, offering a unique new perspective on these issues. Featuring interviews with 28 world-renowned experts, including Dr. T Colin Campbell, Joe Cross, D John McDougall, Capitan Paul Watson, Dr.Michael Greger, Rich Roll, Dr. Richard Oppenlander, Dr Toni Bark and several others. This film will certainly change the way you look at the food on your plate.
